Meditation

By doing this exercise you will create a relaxation
response throughout your body and also activate your
heart chakra helping you feel more connected, more
at one, and helping you to attract the love you wish to receive
in your life.
Sit in an upright posture, preferably in which
your back feels supported.
Ensure you have a clock near you that you can
hear ticking.
Breathe out and then breathe in for the count
of four seconds.
To open the heart chakra, lightly touch your thumb
and index fingers, resting your left hand on your left
knee and your right hand at the lowest tip of your breast bone.
Concentrate on the heart chakra, the place on the spine level
with the heart.
Now on your exhalation, chant ‘YAM’ for the count of 6 seconds.
(say it as one word – ‘Yaaaam’ – for the whole duration.)
See if you can hold your breath out for the count of 2 seconds.
Repeat this cycle at least 10 times.
Now try to do at least one random act of kindness each day.
This could be giving a compliment to a stranger or someone
you know, giving a small gift to a loved one or friend, or
simply just calling someone you have not spoken to for a while.
But make sure you do this without expecting anything back,
then relax and watch the magic happen!
